This Situation Sucks

Hey y'all

For those who aren't aware, there has been a wave of doxxing targeting furry—especially cub—content creators. Thankfully nothing in my page is related or shows information about my IRL person, and I have all my furry side separated from my personal one.

However, until things calm down, I'll have all my gallery temporarily set to friends only, which is a shame but it's a way to prevent risks. Until then, please be patient, things will get better :3

Good security practice <3 It sucks we have to do this sort of thing, I'm similarly not too worried about things on my end but still doing a temporary hide on my subs/journals til things calm down. More of a solidarity thing.

I also think it shows how much we should be glad we have a community here that is willing to help each other. We are all people, some of us might’ve gone through adversity in the past that led ‘em to here, others are just interested in the more “taboo” side of the fandom, but ultimately we know how to separate reality from fiction—which seems to be ignored during weird wave.

It's genuinely about the cyberbullying for the antis tbh. The taboo content just makes an easy target for them, but they obviously don't give a shit about kids since they all keep stashes of real, literal illegal CSAM to send people (then report them to whatever site saying they're receiving CSAM)

Do not mistake these idiots for activists lmao they're in it for cruelty not kids. If it wasn't cub/loli/shota it'd be abdl's, bronies and furries in general.

Oh absolutely, I dont believe for a single second these guys are at all compassionate towards CSA. All they do is manipulate and cause harm to people who are already somehow fragile or have trauma and found a way to deal with it.

I absolutely agree. This situation has affected some good folks who used this place as their main source of income. So it’s very frustrating that in one of the few websites that allow this type of content, something like this would happen.

Pffft as if they have enough understanding or brain cells to do that. There are some dangerous people out there who have the intention of harming others (especially minors) which makes me nauseous. However, here we are with lots of creators having to waste time taking precautions for something that could be avoided.

I was curious as to what others were experiencing? Would this be the influx of blank accounts randomly messaging others? I'm curious how a person can dox by looking at art in a gallery.

I think it might be connect to that yeah. I’m not sure exactly how they do it, but from what i gathered it is through the metadata of the images and documents posted—this info is sometimes enough to harm someone’s identity. Alternatively, and this is speculation, many creators end up linking something that might go back to their IRL person—an email, discord or telegram link, and others :/
