Hey just a heads up to anyone using Geopixels, the site owner has specifically allowed homophobia on the site as long as it can be considered a fetish.
On the island of Lesbos, where we get the word lesbian from, some users put artwork that boils down to “black cock fixes lesbians”. I know orientation play is a thing, however these users specifically targeted an island that has significance & history to the lesbian community. This was pointed out to Geo, the owner of GeoPixels. Despite how many times he was told, in several ways, using many different analogies, to explain the context of the situation he either did not understand the nuance or did not care. He claimed that no one can possibly know the real intentions of the people who put the art there so it’s allowed unless we find hard evidence of homophobia, which no one is going to admit to for obvious reasons. This upset quite a lot of people, even those who weren’t part of the community itself.
Now, I’m not saying don’t use the site ever, after all I’m still putting art on there. However, I will not be supporting the site financially. I’m not calling for any sort of action but just to spread the word, because if the site is going to turn a blind eye to blatant bigotry then everyone should know what they’re getting into.
