This chu actually took a break at the end of 2025 to celebrate the holidays with his extended family so art activity came to a standstill.
Looking back at last year felt a mix of high achievements and breathtaking pace for me personally, both artwise and IRL. I earned a promotion at work in October which affected things in the fourth quarter and I was overworking mentally as well as physically at the gym, while still trying to finish art projects and commissions. Burnout was imminent and I needed a reset. Still, 2025 was a landmark year in the amount of artwork produced and improvement over the previous year.
Yet, I feel like 2026 is going to be better than 2025. With recharged morale and energy I can focus better on the current art projects, putting more emphasis on quality over quantity this year, and better work/art/life balance. Dare I keep saying animations and actually making something interactive that isn't just a dressup. I won't reveal what I'm doing there until I get a strategy in motion. Who knows, maybe an actual game may make its way! Dedication and time is extremely limited since mom requires more care and attention these days. Patches of inactivity will be longer and I will need to recharge in the form of video games, reading, programming or work around the house.
In other words, DO NOT expect the same pace as 2025! It will be a year of change and adaptation.

One thing building on top of this point - Please do give this chu breathing room if he doesn't respond to any message, DM, note or whatever. It may even be longer than a week before I get to you. I don't like ghosting, but I must re-emphasize I have priorities and prefer being a busy chu producing art, and having fun with friends every now and then over chit chat. NO REQUESTS is also worth emphasizing, regardless of the number of times I must say this. I know them when I see them, no matter how disguised!
Get used to even MORE weirdness and cheekiness from me. More expansion and experimenting with different characters and anatomies will be also on the way. Some may be surprised what I have in store hehe >:3
I'm steadfast in what I draw, and I never regret anything I've made including any garbage I put out every now and then. I rather run unfiltered and unwavering, and anyone against what I stand for can either unfollow or get blocked. I don't take kindly to petty arguments, cringy memes or any negativity foisted on myself or my friends (Insta-Block). Don't be fooled by this chu's appearance - he's got 19+ years of experience in the art world ;P

The buttdex will continue, with hopes to finish Kanto and possibly Johto. If anyone has ideas how to speed the project up I'm all ears! >.O
Animations! NSFW animations are basically non-existent and I'd love to get good at these. I still must overcome the learning curve with Krita so that will mean they will take more time to develop fully. I want to experiment them first with Team Sparks and Sparkette, since she's beloved by many. Sexy animations will be fun I'm sure!
This week will be more about cleaning house with some things personally and I may update some things profile and gallery-wise but nothing crazy. There may be something in store for Yamper Day (1/8), so keep an eye for that!
