PSA: On scam accounts

Just be aware, if you get sudden commission requests by brand new accounts, with no content in their page and random user names with numbers, it is most-likely a scam account. Be extra aware if they ask to move to Discord or other messaging apps. It is 100% a scam.

Report, block, move on and take care.

If you receive a message inquiring about a commission, block and report. I bait scammers for fun in my free time. And this is 100% a scammer. Same type as in Deviantart.

Kind of old news by this point, but it's good to remind people from time to time.

In general, if some "artist" that you had zero interactions with in the past, writes to you about you having a "cool character" and if you'd want to commission them for any art of the fore mentioned character, just say no. It's easy to assume that they send this message to a hundred more people in hopes of gathering the most profit before bailing out.
Be aware even if they do have "art" in their galleries, as most of that content could be simply AI generated or stolen from other artists.
Lastly, people also do impersonate popular artists on Discord, Telegram etc. then DM you with a generic "I need quick money for bills/doctor etc., could you commission me right now?", then evaporate with your money. No popular artist would ever reach out to individuals like that, they would make public commissions, because they know they'd have a customer in less than a few minutes.
