Sorry.

It looks like I've been reported, fellas.  I'm very sorry, I didn't realize Inkbunny's rules regarding human, or human-adjacent stories/posts were that strict.  Falir's Fist, Closing the Rifts, Blood Isn't Everything, Lost and Found... okay I can't list everything.

I'm looking through my profile as I'm writing this, and pretty much anything with draenei, elves of any kind, and even just one human partner have been automatically hidden.  I doubt I can unhide them.  Even stuff like my recent Pilgrim's Bounty post, which was a retelling of events between tauren and night elves, has been nixed.

I'm usually the first to be kinda like "Okay, I get it, rules are rules and I don't wanna fight it."  But the very last piece of The Night Crawl was hidden, and I don't think there are ANY other humanoids in it other than pandaren, which are explicitly... anthropomorphic pandas.

All of my worgen stuff got nixed, which... that kinda hurts, really.  Even werewolves aren't allowed here?  I mean, I've been posting here for a long time, so... did I piss someone off?  I'm sorry?  I-I... like, 70% of my work here is just totally unavailable.  I'll be honest, I dunno... should I appeal this?  Is it even worth posting here anymore?

Thankfully, this isn't the only site I post on.  If you're interested, my Linktree has links to everywhere else I post/use.  Furaffinity should have my most complete works as well.  I suppose I should start updating my Ao3 page too, 'cause not posting here would basically make postybirb only worthwhile on FA anyway.

I dislike breaking rules.  I've NEVER liked breaking rules.  I ask for forgiveness for my ignorance, and I'll figure out what the best route forward is, 'cause... not everything I write will fit Inkbunny's criteria, obviously.  Not by a longshot.  At the same time, I don't wanna lose readers, but... goddammit, what do I do here?

I would protest. Werewolves at least are ALL OVER this site. If they take your Worgens, they have to nix it ALL.

Weirdly enough, the DAY after I advised you to fight it, I got one of my original posts removed... a photo of an actual bear visiting my front porch.

Guess i called attention to myself.
But you know what? FA hasn't banned any of my stuff.

IB might just succeed in banning their way into obsolescence.

I'm sorry!  I dunno how I even got on anyone's radar, I don't think I'm exactly very big in the community.

Right now I'm still mulling over how to handle this.  I got another message from the mod that scoured my profile, and they outright admitted they "couldn't be asked" to read all of my worgen stories to see if there were human forms in there or not.  I don't mind abiding by rules, but it appears someone just went click-crazy without assessing what needed to be hidden and what didn't, which doesn't seem right to me.

Heck, Tangled Troubles is about night elf druids, but they never shapeshift back to their elf forms, which was a request of the commissioner specifically, essentially making them feral.  So it seems that transformations aren't okay if the base form is humanoid non-furry?  I did a cursory search on Inkbunny, where I found quite a few pieces of transformation art of humans becoming furry in stages (it's not my cup of tea, but no judgment!) on sites like this, and neko stuff is still pretty prevalent, which seems just like humans with furry ears and a tail more often than not... which I think would be against the rules too?

Kemonomimi in sexual situations are indeed against the rules, as well as sexual items before characters are sufficiently transformed. They've likely just slipped under the radar as you have.

sadly this is happening in bits and pieces all over the place.  this bit here is banned, that bit there is now against the rules, there isn't really any one place to have all the things together anymore...

I've been fortunate up to this point that no one has seemed to mind here.  Furaffinity hasn't had any issues with it thus far, and I'm positive Archive of our Own should stay a safe haven for my niche.  I didn't mind much until I really started looking at my gallery, and there's definitely stuff in there that shouldn't have been knocked off.  I'm all for enforcing rules if it's done fairly, but... there's a number of them that I think were docked unfairly, be it due to apathy or carelessness.

I don't wanna seem like I'm trying to start shit, but I do think if someone's gonna block/hide/ban stuff, they should actually read it, or at least do a ctrl+f on it for certain things, before clicking and mass-wiping a profile.

Fuck....

I'm sorry to have to say this, since I know I risk being targeted too; but honestly this ship is starting to sink and we're getting more cub I MEAN taboo-friendly places in the near future...but it's not you. At least, it's not entirely you.

It's true that full-blooded humans aren't allowed(and, tbf, never were) but elves, half-humans, druids, suspiciously shaven pigmen, anything that isn't unambiguously human is allowed. And WEREWOLVES!? That makes up more than 65 fucking percent of the content on this site.

The problem is, sadly Inkbunny has fallen wholly to corruption and nepotism. The "moderators" have run rampant with tyranny and mass-delete/hide/ban anyone that they find annoying, or doesn't match up to their beliefs, or, like you've stated, has pissed them off for any (or no) reason. In your case, since there technically were a few humans in some of your stories, that was just the pinhole leak in the submarine; it gave them an excuse to fuck you over. Personally, I wouldn't bother trying to appeal; you'd more than likely get someone who's under the table. What you can do is either edit the documents to just redirect to an ethical, honorable website (per example, what I do when my comms have humans), or even better, you can c/p the tags, descriptions and other important information so you don't have to retype it all, delete those submissions, then re-upload them as new ones with the redirected link so you can get back into the 'Recent' & 'Popular' circuit to get more views and followers! 👍

" Characters that are essentially human (pixies, faeries, elves, orcs, trolls, etc) or just have ears/tails or other superficial animal features applied are considered human for this rule. This is primarily because some laws discount such features when considering whether a drawing is of a [human] person.

Elves, Orcs, and other common demi-humans are specifically called out as not allowed. Werewolves, provided they aren't shown in sexual situations while in their human form would be allowed though. BenRiote should follow-up on the notice they received if any of their Worgen stories qualify.

I believe in my original 23-ish-part worgen story, none of them reverted to their human forms at all.  I made the reveals in some offshoot stories I did much later on, so I'd get it if just those got flagged, but "The Shadowclaw Urge" story itself doesn't make much sense to me.  There was also a part of "The Night Crawl" that got banned, and I don't recall there being even mentions of *any* race that wasn't a humanoid panda.  Tangled Troubles is another where they remained in feral form, so this calls into question how far the rules go for shapeshifting, even if it's just acknowledged that they're transformed into beasts.  The recent Pilgrim's Bounty story I can accept more, though the elves in it, while engaged with tauren, are all part of events being retold by the tauren himself to another tauren.  So is it reasonable that even anecdotes told by furries about humans in a sexual fashion should remain banned?  Not being facetious, genuinely asking.  Another story that didn't get banned involves two furries with temporary costume transformations having sex, but that must've been okay.

I appreciate the pragmatic response, and, personally, I respect that every site has their own rules, and I want to abide by them.  That being said, Inkbunny's made it clear that my niche of work isn't for the site, or perhaps I just expanded too far along the Warcraft theme that I overstepped the site's scope.  Maybe I just got too lewd with it.  I respectfully appreciate readers who've come to my defense, but rules are rules.  The thing about it is, even if I got one story or a few select parts unbanned, that still leaves a LOT of my stories that still wouldn't qualify an unban by these rules.  That's on me for not reading rules sooner I guess, but I still appreciate that site-users read them and appreciated them in some form or another, and they're still available elsewhere.

Many of the items were likely due to simply not having time to read your entire series to determine if there was offending content. If offending species were mentioned and it was marked adult, it was hidden. I've pointed the team at your reply and most of those should be getting unhidden. But yes, recounting tales of sex including essentially human characters is treated no differently than telling it in the first person.

Regarding transformed characters, the rules is "Transformed characters must be sufficiently non-human when restricted elements are displayed." Depending on your tagging, that one may have been missed or skimmed to determine the degree of transformation.

I can own up that some of my work was against the site rules, and I was likely small enough that I flew under the radar until this point.  If it doesn't fit the rules, I get it.  I can own that.

Some of the stuff that was hidden, however, should have still abided by the rules I feel.  I could make an appeal, sure, but with as much as was banned, coupled with the idea that I kinda don't think the onus should be on me to correct a careless mod when they made the wrong call, I'm not sure it's worth it.  Furaffinity and Ao3 still seem safe, and I'd very much like to stick to sites where I can keep all of my work in one place.  All the same, I like having my fingers in as many pies as I can, too, so to speak, so I've got to do some thinking on it.  I'm about to go on vacation, so I dunno how much I'll be focusing on this for the time being, though clearly I won't be posting Falir's Fist here anymore, unfortunately.
