Lol, LMAO even

Didn't I mention that places that permit AI are unstable?

I wouldn't be surprised if the heavy influx of AI is causing IB to bleed money and they need to start culling content to appease advertisers.

I'm glad I haven't been posting here now.

We don't have advertisers. We don't make our content decisions based on whether they'll be popular or get views/clicks.

Inkbunny is supported by user donations (of which we have significantly more donations than we need to operate). Inkbunny costs a little more than $11 USD a day to operate. It's such that we can operate it in perpetuity without donations, if that were ever needed.

I was going to say... Yeah, there's no adverts on the site even without adblock if I recall. I don't know where Daneasaur got this idea, that's shit that FA deals with since they have a heavy artist based advert system with some non-artist ads intermingled. But places like Youtube and Imgur are very advertiser based, so maybe he's thinking that?

Advertisers all over aforementioned places are also EXTREMELY pro-AI to the point that it poisons the well, companies are relying more and more on pushing its investments in hopes it will mean less workers and less people to pay, but little to no consumers want that shit stuffed in their face, because it just becomes those damn gross mobile ads we get on youtube all the time, but in worse quality.

Regardless... Daneasaur, I know you hate AI slop, but you need to fight with proper knowledge, not assume things, or you'll be discredited. We can't just sling accusations.

I don't disable ad block systems.

Regardless, the mass banning of 3D art, especially made BY the user, is absurd, especially with the permission of AI content being uploaded.

Again, I do not regret sticking to my statement of refusing to upload here until AI is banned off the platform.

What mass banning of 3D art? Fuck, I just started learning Blender to make better 3D... I was making game assets but I wanted to make like porn renders in Blender eventually.

[/edit]It does not affect me, but that's only because I'm stubborn and I want to learn to make my own models. Animating them is a whole other issue. I feel like the rules GREATLY DEVALUE how much actual effort is involved in making two models "thrusting into one another" because it involves IK, clipping, sometimes physics and is in no way a "simple" thing to do. I haven't even tackled that yet, but it looks hard. Sometimes just getting the bones to rotate and work properly is it's own headache. I wonder if the person modifying the rules or any other 3D software ever even fucking used Blender, like, ever. I can't believe they just slaughtered SFM artists like this, lmao.

I've mentioned this a few other places, but I see these rules as a starting point for building off of. The policy that we've been enforcing since the site was launched was more strict than this. That people were posting SFM here basically comes down to how poorly staffed we were. There were more reports and more issues than we could handle with our very small staff. In April, we caught up, and started enforcing more consistently, and people complained, so we paused enforcement, looked at the policy, and expanded what was allowed while making the policy clear to end-users.

I eventually want to see us do more, especially around actual animated content. Most of what is being impacted is still renders of unmodified third party models in various poses with no animation. We did have some discussion about additional rules for actual animated content, but we didn't really have enough information about what was actually going into the animations to make good rules around them. It's much easier to start from a place where the rules are very tight and then gradually loosen them up than it is to tighten down rules later.
