Update About My Account

Even though I'm technically still on hiatus, I'd just like to give an update on my Weekly Wisdom content, and my future plans.

On September 10/11, my gallery of Weekly Wisdom and Don’t Know Who Needs to See This was deleted by an admin for being inappropriate to share in submissions.

One big factor was that I did not own the rights to one motivational submission that I posted. I absolutely accept the admin decision in this case. I should not have posted it, and I apologize for doing so.

Another reason for the deletion was because I put links to videos I don't own in some of the submissions, but all the submissions, even the ones with no links, were deleted. I've been informed that links are okay to share in journals.

It should be noted that the above action was taken after I posted the following submission, linking to a Charlie Kirk reaction video:

I didn’t agree with everything Charlie Kirk said, but at least I could understand his arguments. This is not true for the person talking at him in this video.

I do plan to continue posting journals of Weekly Wisdom, and occasionally Not Sure Who Needs to See This… and I’ll let you know when that is coming.

Part of me wonders if it's a low-key attempt to smother "wrong think" that does not align with the views of one person with a bit of power. It wouldn't be the first time someone has done something like that. Still, it does sort of make sense, and IB hasn't exactly been a tyrannical dictatorship built on ideology. Occam's Razor suggests this is just one of those weird gray areas or obscure rules where it's better to just play safe for everybody's sake. So, it is what it is.

Many Social Forums are not Social. They, in fact, want to limit what THEY deem inappropriate. The Nazi's did that...and so did every other government who does not want you to make informed choices. Orwell was correct.
