Hello. It's been about 4 weeks since the surgery.
Currently, I'm waiting for the surgical site on my thumb to heal well.
There were some bad things going on during the treatment.
Actually, the area where the reattachment surgery was done became necrotic and turned black.
So, I was told I'd have to have another surgery to remove it, but another doctor said it would automatically fall off as new skin grows over time, so I didn't get the second surgery. (I think that doctor might have been over-treating, as the surgery cost was enormous.)
Now, I have a slight inflammation on my thumb, so I'm trying not to grab anything as much as possible.
That's why I'm grabbing and drawing things with the part between my thumb and index finger. Anyway,
I'm slowly getting better, and the doctor I'm newly consulting with says my recovery period is on the longer side.
I plan to reopen commissions soon. Also, thank you to everyone who supported me! You are the best.
