Question.

If an artist gift you artworks, can you post it. The artist has left Ink Bunny again and removed his works for now.

I still have gifted art on my IB-Account. Why should I take it off? It was a gift where my character is drawn by the very person. And I have many art like those by different people. And as in your example, the art is removed and the people left IB and even FA.

Good question hmm I guess you should ask them (if you can) before post it or just post it without @ them.

I would say follow their posting guidelines, if they didn't have an issue with their art being posted before, it should be fine.

I would first ask permission from the artist, if you get a yes, well absolutely!

I don't have any artwork that an artist has given me.

All I have is about my characters.

If it is a piece of artwork that was gifted to you, I'd say yes. What I usually do is reference the user, even if I can't directly link to them (so and so, formerly of Inkbunny, etc).

He left no info where to reach him, He did tell me to do what I wanted with them. I'm sad that he again left IB and removed his art. It's all AI art so not the perfect match to my skunk but close enough.

Sounds like he doesn't have an issue with it, and as long as that doesn't change, I see no reason not to.

do what I wanted with them.

That should include posting.

I see no reason not to, especially since it was AI, so it's not copyrighted or owned by the person who gifted it to you.

If they request IB to take down all art they will I think.

I think that the Terms of Service here allow you to post gift art. However, the artist may have other preferences so ask them?

You need permission from the artist to post it, unless it's AI, in which directors don't own copyright of said work, otherwise gift work is allowed without issue. Just remember if it is AI, I believe you NEED to put the prompt data down, even if it's gift art, so that moderators can verify it fits the ACP.

EDIT: I just saw it, yeah, AI needs that prompt data.

From What I seen is this is how it I would do it. :3

If they give you the art you are allow to post it, If they leave, you may post it but with anonymous as sources. :3
This way if they reach out to you then you can change the anonymous to the person or have it be privates in your gallery. :3

If they asked you to remove it, then you should remove it. :3
I hope this helps. :3

Without the ai source codes of where it came from, I'm going to take both pages down, maybe the artist will come back later on again.
