When I try to remember how to draw~
Actually, I've done a couple things between last Inktober and now - I'll make a point to squeeze them in when I have time. The last few months have been pretty hectic, which (like usual) has put a damper on my drawing time. Most notably:
---I got engaged! The wedding will be early next year. Invitations and planning and what-not is super time consuming! Early on in the relationship, I figured it would be better in the long term to show her the sorts of things I draw, since I wouldn't want to be keeping that sort of secret. The first couple SFW choices were met with an, "Aww.. that's really cute!" The later, NSFW choices were met with a, "That's.... actually kinda hot..." Years pass and now we're getting married - I'll have some drawings of a cubby fursona she requested~
--- I bought a new car! This one isn't quite as life changing, but I got an Ioniq 5. It's a fully plug-in electric and a blast to drive. It accelerates like nobody's business.
---My soul-cat passed away... This is still affecting me, and from what I've read about grief, I guess it'll never fully stop. She got very sick very abruptly with an illness that normally doesn't hit cats of her age, so the vet didn't think to test for it when she first started acting off. We did the best we could given the situation, but things were stacked pretty heavily against us. Until the moment of her passing, she was stuck to me like glue. I've never had a cat before that so deeply expressed her love and affection for the humans in her life, and I don't think I ever will again.
In the time since, both myself and our roomate have taken in shelter kitties to care for (my fiancee still has her own cat), since we talked it over and decided we had both the physical room in our house and the emotional room in our hearts to care for animals in need of a home. I love them too, but I still miss Bemani~
--- Trans rights are human rights. This wasn't a change in my life. That was always a thing and it should always be a thing. Just sayin'.
Now that I've said my stuff, I'll be posting today's Inktober, with the occasional bonus picture thrown in when I find the time to format them. Probably all lewds again this year (nudity motivates me more!), and I'd like to draw some more aesthetically pleasing penises this time around...
