I just want to take a quick minute here to say thank you, to everyone. Every single one of you who have followed me, commented, faved, and shared my work in any way—thank you.
I don’t believe that one has to have trauma to find enjoyment in the risqué side of kink (quite the opposite, actually, I think we need more ‘normies’ enjoying these things). However, as someone who does have the token trauma—to see the work I pour myself into receive such positive feedback means more to me than I can put into words. When I made Jewel, I never expected him to become such a channel for not only myself but my healing journey. Seeing him loved and appreciated and wanted is so…cathartic, for me.
I’ve had this account for years, as you have probably noticed, but I just wasn’t in a place where I felt I could express this part of me openly. Needless to say, I’m happy I decided to take that leap, because I don’t feel like I’d have been able to begin healing this part of myself without doing so. So, thank you for the support and encouragement to keep doing that, whether you understand/sympathize with this or not; your mere presence on my work is just as important to me. Truly.
I hope we can all continue to grow together, especially if that growth means healing for any of you. 💖
