My sister called us this morning to relay the news that our Aunt Joan (my favorite Aunt AND my Godmother) passed away earlier today. I won't go into details but I'm pretty broken up about it.
She's the fourth person I've loved to die from cancer, First my Mom, then my Dad, one of my best friends, and now my "Auntie J". Well nobody ever said life was fair.
