It's been a year and a day since I uploaded a submission that wasn't even a demo yet, just explaining the general idea of cubsitting simulator.
It was a huge success, or so it felt to someone who never had uploaded any art himself (it had more than 100 views! And 5 favorites! Hey, it felt like a lot to me at the time XD) so I decided to put in the required work and actually release a playable demo.
I can't describe how much fun I had on the way. It's a true shame I can't brag to friends & family, because it's the first project I haven't abandoned in a month.
And it all started because I found a dude on YouTube playing Babysitting Cream, I got curious how they still played the flash version and it turned out to be a Ren'py based extension of the original.
Anyway, some info about CSS's future: as y'all might have guessed, it's officially uncancelled now. 0.4.14 is not going to be the final version, and I hope to release the 0.5.0 version end of January.
I can assure y'all that still no fictional pixels are harmed anywhere in my new host country, but I managed to work around most issues (blocking all images on Chrome for inkbunny, working on a censored version coding wise that I merge with the noncensored version when I'm back home etc etc). It's annoying, but doable.
I also found two people willing to help out with Spanish and French, so I'm hopeful that 0.5.0 will have support for those languages.
Save games will largely be compatible, you might just lose a bit of progress as Vi's and Leonard's routes will have changed quite a bit.
Thanks everyone who helped me out / supported me in this year. Let's aim for another fun year this year.
