Man, has it really been 5 years since the last time the thing I'm vagueposting about happened? I'm surprised it took this long, unsurprised it happened.
The tl;dr is that if you aren't providing value for money it shouldn't be a surprise if you aren't getting paid. If you charge too much and provide too little you'll lose sales, especially if what you're selling is a niche hobby luxury, especially on the eve of a recession.
And if you happened to be kind of crappy, ridiculously thin-skinned, overly combative, and are weirdly shady and opaque about your production? And if you happened to frequently tell on yourself in a dumb way that alienates you from most of you community? And if so much of your front facing architecture could desperately use a revamp? I'm not saying I would want this hypothetical person and their business to fail, but I am going to suggest the fault isn't wholly in your stars.
Incidentally this is I think the fourth or fifth time this has happened? Even reusing the exact same pleading message and image? Yeah. Look, if someone like DSP can stumble his way forward anybody's got a shot, especially a perennially resilient hanger-on.
