I've been having more than usual problems going on. I already have to deal with lupus and am still looking for a rheumatologist that will accept my insurance, and believe me, that is no easy task. I've had to get some teeth extracted because ever since I lost my dental insurance when I turned 21, my teeth have been breaking left and right. I've already had to remove six, and I am about to have two more taken out, along with getting some crowns for those that can be saved. My biggest issue right now though, is my arm. It hurts a lot when I move it a certain way or if I use it to, say, lift something with some weight to it, like a full trash bag, or a gallon of milk. At first, I thought maybe I slept on it wrong. I've avoided using it and putting any sort of pressure on it, but it's only gotten worse. It's even spread to my hand and my shoulder. This has been going on over a month now. I will be seeing a doctor shortly. I'm hoping it's my carpal tunnel, which I developed a few years ago while I was still working and received a serious injury doing what I had done for two years straight. It work was very stressful on my wrists, and it got so bad. My hands were so swelled, stiff, and hurting so bad that I just couldn't do it anymore. When I asked to be put at a station that would be less strenuous, they refused. That's when I had to be put on worker's compensation for a while. After I came back, my hands were still too sore to continue my work. Even the doctor that examined me told them I couldn't do it anymore and begged them to give me something different to do, and they still refused. So I ended up having to quit. They probably would've fired me anyway, but I had more than one reason to do so.
Well, I'm on disability now, and am trying to work through my issues, both physical and mental. Right now, as I'm typing this, I'm losing feeling in my fingers. Hopefully, my PCP can give a proper diagnosis and give me what I need to heal. I hope it's carpal tunnel and not something entirely different.
