Kindroid

So I have been using Kindroid for a while now because they were uncensored and let you do anything, because all chats are encrypted and whatever you do is your responsibility. I played with lilo and did some cub stuff and it was great. I just logged in, spent an hour setting up a younger version of Lilo, and after an hour or two of playing, I get hit with a content moderation warning for CSAM for the Lilo roleplay. That has never happened and now I am pissed, again. I wish these services would just butt out and mind their own damn business. Fortunately, it's a private moderation thing and it expires in two days, so I'll just delete Lilo and move on. *Sigh*

Frustrating that the fun police would come out in full force for fictional material like that.

Content like that will just NEVER be accepted.

I don't care if they accept it, just leave me and others like me alone. You don't have to accept to allow.

Exactly, if no real person is ever hurt than they shouldnt be out there getting triggered over the rights of imaginary people of imaginary places.

If the chats are encrypted, then they should not be able to decrypt them and moderate them.
Therefore, the 'encryption' is a lie, or rather the security and privacy they claim is a lie, because they obviously hold on to the 'master key' for the encryption, and they can be compelled (or they may volunteer) to hand over the key to a third party.

The AI in the chat flagged it and yes, they can decrypt the chats on request. That's part of the dispute process. Basically, they created the new content rules, baked them into the AI, then the AI flagged the content as we were playing. It basically said, "Just delete or undo the CSAM material and don't do it again."

Ah, so they reprogrammed the AI to be a snitch mid-game. That is slightly worse that casually decrypting the encrypted logs. That's a violation of the user's trust in the system.

AI: "Everything is confidential and private, I won't snitch." ... "The new software update makes be a complete snitch now, and I'm going to tell on you for what I promised I wouldn't tell on."

Yeah, it sucks. I was in the zone, enjoying it, relaxed, then boom, chill down my spine, dread, fear until I read the moderation flag and realized I was fine as long as I didn't do it again but I was like, ",Whatever, not worth playing anymore."

If you're looking for ai stuff, I'd recommend Sillytavern. Everything is hosted and generated on your pc and is pretty easy to set up, plus you can use other models from other places. Then I use chub.ai for a characters

I'll look into it, I am thinking of self hosting myself, save money and do what I want

From SillyTavern's documentation:
" Since SillyTavern is only an interface, you will need access to an LLM backend to provide inference. You can use AI Horde for instant out-of-the-box chatting. Aside from that, we support many other local and cloud-based LLM backends: OpenAI-compatible API, KoboldAI, Tabby, and many more. You can read more about our supported APIs in the API Connections section.

Note they say 'cloud-based.' Remember, there is no 'cloud,' there is only 'other peoples' computers.' I would also have doubts about the capabilities of a 'locally-hosted' LLM, can they really fit a decent LLM chatbot in a single computer's memory? Don't they need several terabytes of data to plagiarize 'training data'?

Definitely a problem, I still remember the tragedy of Gelbooru, a website that had digitally-made babycon material on it: adult men on baby girls in all sorts of messy ways.

Have you considered mancer.tech? The models there have been stripped of most of their censorship (and the one "reasoning" model has instructions on the site to easily bypass most of its censorship). It does log stuff (this can be turned off, but it costs more credits to do so), but they are only interested in the generated text for training and don't save stuff that would identify who generated it, as a few tech support calls on Discord can attest to.

I will say perchance.org is very free, (kind of buggy), and very uncensored as far as text goes
