I need to share something with you. I’ve been very absent, and those who know me have seen how much I fell behind with work.
The truth is that over the past year I had to face very complex family matters. My parents are elderly and I don’t live with them, but I had to be very present in supporting them. My mother, who is thankfully stable now, went through a long period of illness that required a lot of care and attention.
At the same time, I had to deal with a painful legal situation: my brother took advantage of my mother and defrauded her out of her house. It was extremely difficult, but fortunately that issue has now been resolved.
All of this took a huge amount of time and energy, which left me struggling to keep up with commissions and constantly falling behind. But today, I can finally say that I’m fully caught up with all pending work.
From now on, I want to move forward with more consistency. I’ll be starting daily sketch streams, where I’ll share my process live and keep a steady creative pace.
