Update on stories

by
Hey guys. I know there’s a smaller majority of you who enjoy my stories but I just wanted to keep you up to date. I’ve been having trouble finding time to sit down and write these days. I got a puppy a few months ago and that’s eaten a lot of my time, in addition to me being moved to 2nd shift at my job, and just general blah feeling and writer’s block. I’ve got a large story that’s currently >80 pages that is 2/3rds done, outside of editing and review. I would like to release it before the end of the year but I can’t make any promises. I wanna say thank you to everyone that reads and likes my stories. I enjoy writing them and am beyond happy that anyone likes reading them.

In the meantime, as always, I’d be thrilled to answer any questions you might have about my characters or just talk about them in general haha

Thanks for following and liking my stuff :3

I love getting to read your stories and exploring the universe you've woven for your characters! But I know how you feel - been in the same boat myself for a while.

heh...
kinda been there.  I want to write more, and post more frequently, but...well.
auto-immune organ rejection is a bitch.  the meds, even more so.

it's hard to write in large chunks, when you feel like "i need time to write, I don't have so much time to sit anymore"
you've read most of my stuff by now, but it's done in piecemeal.  i write a sentence here, a paragraph there...fall asleep mid-dialogue and lose all track of what I was doing x-x but...it's the tortoise approach.  a little here, a little there, gradually you get something.  i've scrapped far more than I post because some of the smaller poking jots down ideas but they don't really..."naturally" evolve or they derail the story, but it keeps the flow active I suppose.

find a way that works for your situation.  it does help to keep it active even if the idea jots here and there don't turn into something actually productive.
i've got like...seven other stories i'm not posting because they're just idea dumps and don't really get anywhere.  the useful parts get upcycled into my Spyro writing.

TLDR don't let the lack of time get to you, find a way to work with what you have...even if it's writer's block.

Take all the time you need man. You're stories are some of the best written stories I've read in a long while. I wish I can build up a world as engaging as you make it out to be, and as someone that also struggles with ideas from time to time, I get exactly where you're coming from. We'll all be here ready and waiting for read whatever you got cooking
