I am definitely of the opinion it was a different or alternate reality from the Disney's Jungle book movie(s)
At one time I had copies of Disney's The Jungle Book movies 1&2 And even though in the fast facts Friday YouTube ( a little over 1 minute in ) the show is only compared to the first movie I always saw them as separate
personal note here : I gotta acknowledge my inner child so that my outer adult can... GET 'ERR DONE (daaam I don't like when my mind tells me to say that Larry T.C.G. catch phrase)
anyhow I am glad they went with a different voice for tht shows Baloo then the movie Baloo
An added piece of trivia from another YouTube about the show -- Disney would limit shows to 65 episodes before the show That's So Raven broke that episode rule

I will have great memories of talespin & I do love the Tailspin art I favorited on both inkbunny & furaffinity
Most of my Tailspin collectables were lost , however the only ones I'm trying to replace are the model of the seaduck and the 4 Funko figures that I had

They did indeed edited the 4 parter from the movie & the biggest thing that I noticed was the episodes didn't have the song Home is where the heart is but you can find that scene with song on YouTube
As for those 5 collectables I am seeking thanks for the luck I might need that when I go online to try & fish for them
