In my youth when I was a very stupid young neo furry I did some editions on images of many of my favorite artists and post them on furry sites and chats "as practice" to learn how to draw better, taking me out of art style and confort zone, before I know FA and DA where a thing, (this was back in 1998) they told me there it was a big nono, so I stopped!
But some of those edits became so popular and good some even believed the original artist did them and I only had MS paint and some thing called Paint tool SAI (the crappy free version) to do them (and with a ball mouse). Now I do them still but never post them, they end up in the trash bin for 3 to 5 days and then are fully deleted from ever seen the light of day.
(Never actually used one of yours but I see why its attractive for some to do so, your art does emulate the art style of those movies from where those characters are from, that will attract people to do that, specially if they are popular characters)
Now my edits are are really just practice. they also help me to take away artist block at times. but now I am tempted is there any of those in your gallery you would allow me to edit? my idea would be to change maybe in one of those Balto & Jenna ones to change balto or Jenna for the Character Gin or Weed from the Ginga Densetsu series. let me know if you would agree if not that was just a silly story you remind me of when I was younger and didn't knew better.
