Today!!!!

Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't been super active lately.  Last month I got a really bad cold that lasted more than a week, and for a week after that it lingered as a sinus infection that hurt like heck and made it feel like my teeth were hurting too!!  xwx

As promised, I have an update on Chester.  It's been 2 months and he seems to have mostly been fine, though he does sleep a lot and whenever the kids come over or he's left alone for too long he stresses out and tends to throw up.  He is eating dry food again, though not much of it! And he will play games with people again.  Occasionally he's managed to get into my mom's fake grass plant which is bad for him and makes him throw up, but again, only when no one is around and she forgets to block access to the piano where the fake plant is.

Chester has been a bit vocal lately, so sometimes I worry he wants something that I can't understand, but I think he just wants me to get out of bed and feed him a snack or something different half the time.  He will meow at you if you talk to him, it always feels like he's trying to communicate.  But cats' messaging is very subtle, and similarly, it's very difficult to explain something to a cat.

Thank you again for all the help a few months back.  I put all of the donations into a savings account and as of this writing, they are still there.  Been working on another commission for way too long (several months again, usually dedicating one day a week to it if my brother's kids don't show up on the day I like to stream), but hopefully I can shoot out a few more drawings this year so it doesn't look like I've fallen off a cliff @w@

A lot of animals want their scalp scratched, since they cant reach it so well.
Seems cats do 'ask' that sometimes.
Even observed the mice do that for each other - they lay down & have/let other ones groom their heads.
But that might only be occasionally what pets are trying to say.
