So—Hello, I’m Julien!
I’m an artist and author who finds joy in exploring both the tender and the unsettling sides of storytelling. My work often dances between romance and horror, beauty and shadow—I love creating characters who feel raw and real, even in the strangest of worlds.
I’m someone who’s always been drawn to stories, whether they’re told through words, images, or the strange places in between. I love lingering in the quiet details: the way a moment feels, the weight of a glance, the ache of longing or the thrill of fear. That’s what I try to capture in my art and writing.
My work tends to be character-driven, often circling themes of love, obsession, vulnerability, and transformation. Sometimes it leans romantic, sometimes eerie, often both. I enjoy building worlds and exploring headspaces that blur the line between comfort and unease because the human psyche is beautifully nuanced like that.
Outside of art, I’m a lover of books, music, and the small rituals of daily life that keep me grounded. I believe creativity is as much about reflection as it is about expression—and I hope sharing here can spark both.
