Rosa growled in light annoyance as he sat atop of a stool, one eye closed as Dite carefully did up his eyelashes to further match up their outfits, the leafeon smiling in delight as she occasionally licked his cheek just to smudge his make-up even further, the two were on tour together, the unlikely tour of a century, and their first show was tonight, after about two months of preparing for work on this. "Don't blink just yet," she said, holding his eye open carefully as she slid a glitter pen along the edge of his eyelid, being super careful not to hurt him with it before letting him go, heavy blinks being given afterward as she did the same treatment to the other eye. After which, his sky blue eyes seemed to beam brighter than they should, even shining in fully lit areas like gemstones. "Oh my God... you're so damned sexy!" she giggled, grinning as she happily hugged him, giving a quick smooch to the nose as she then let him go. "So, ready for tonight by chance? I hope so, this has been a long time coming, and is a heavy, heavy mix between our two styles, which is terrifying, to me at least." She stretched, standing up now on two legs, standing like an anthro would now as she huffed. "And this body of mine is much like your own, only thing?" she snickered softly. "I... can't wear pants, least not yet, Abney hasn't given me the perfected costume addition there."
"Well no shit, tis why I'm your guard, so to speak, other than the co-talent that is" he grinned, then flexed his muscles some in his leather jacket, and then quietly adjusted his skirt some. "So, you like running around half-naked on stage? Seriously, how many people try to poke ya in a day?" he asked, only to blink and snerk audibly as he saw her middle finger up at him. "Your wife doesn't count, goof!"
"Oi, I know this, but she's worried sick every damned day!" she retorted before grinning wide. "And now..." she carefully covered herself with her gowl, then covered herself with her mask, taking a moment to pose as she growled cutely. "And how do I look?" she asked, waiting for some weird comment as the glowing LED mouth appeared on the mask itself.
"Like you usually do, cute, cuddly, covered in body glitter, and hyped up on Monster energy drinks," he then yeeked and fell backward when he was hit by a pillow. "Ay! That's the truth, ya energy fiend, ya drink enough of those to fuel half of Korea!"
"That's three-fourths of Korea to you, missy!" she then giggled, then helped her partner up with a bright smile. "...I'm honestly a little scared. Never been so nervous in my life, but at least someone I like is here to help me with it, right?"
The Fennec just shakes his head some, then smiles and smooches her lips. "Now you can stop freaking out, cause ya got kissed by a boy" he grinned, only to yip each time she punched him in the gut, laughing between each one hitting him.
"Kissy Jerk!" she then shook her head with a bright smile. "My wife would kill you if she saw that..."
"Ya think my wives and husbands wouldn't do the same?" he asked curiously. "Plus, you know me, I don't touch lest you want me to, that's the agreement, that's the deal."
"Yeah, yeah, just no pervy dancing over the top, aight? Last thing I need is a PR disaster." she then sighed, putting a small coat of powder glitter on them both before hugging him to her side, both walking out toward the stage as she knew the lights would be dimmed down by the time they reached the entrance, both walking calmly out onto the stage as she handed him his violin, and took her position at the turntables and booth, helping him up ontop of one of the speakers just as the first flash and boom went off, followed by the world lighting up, the cheers of the crowd being heard as they looked out to the good sized crowd of a million fans and patrons, all here to see what they were going to do this year.
'Here goes nothing' thought the both of them, Dite beginning to tap a simple beat out on her tap-pad, a soft, curious start, followed by the surprising inclusion of a violin, at first, sounded strange to her, but then as the crowd continued, they went with it, winging everything they had worked on, going off memory, and just doing their damnedest to make them all enjoy the show, giving them the time of a lifetime, though as the song powered down, the leafeon soon spoke up over the audio system.
"Ahh, sorry about that, my dearest fans, I hope your trip here to Amsterdam was a good one! A little impromptu fun before we finally get the show on the road, we are going to show this world how things are done with a good time, how to live one's life happy, and show that just because we are opposite of classical, we can easily make some beautiful music together, right?!" she grinned, looking up at her cooperative artist, grinning as she began the first song, a proper song now, a bit of a wilder twist on the first of it's kind song, and then, as she was about to allow it to be just an instrumental, her heart fluttered, eyes turned up to the Fennec as he rawed the bow back, and played quite the beautiful mix, then... he spoke, singing?! HE SUNG?!! Oh God, she had to pull her mask away for a moment, purely for a brief moment, amazed as she heard him. He could octave himself to hell, he never missed a beat, he actually went with the tune, and just as she began to hit harder with her notes and tones, she saw what they hoped they would cause happen, the whole crowd was amazed, beyond enthralled, dancing, partying and rocking away with it all.
The next songs, as the concert dragged onward, would in turn with a dance performance from the two, singing from the leaf herself, and naturally, showing all she hadn't lost her style either. She wanted to make herself at home, which she was doing as well as she could. The various techniques they traded off with various instruments only added further fuel to the fire of their performance, unexpected moments, and even caused a few 'planned' accidents to make the crowd enjoy their antics more. Laughter, teasing, banter, even a quick lyrical battle between the two would take part, just to keep the other motivated and their fans happy!
And even the Fennec showed his prowess, his style of singing, his awesomeness, using more classical instruments to only add further to it all, how could anyone stay away and stay back from it all? It was certainly a good change, and certainly a good choice to have them both together, and even showed his playful passion for his partner of the stage, and didn't back down when she got a bit too provoking and provocative for their tastes, even slyly embarrassing her on stage to keep her from getting too over the top, and the same for him naturally, both working to keep each other off the 'bad' spectrum of things!
The show dragged on, and roared onward for a good four hours, and as the party drew down, Rosa sang a song that he thought would tell a bit of Dite's past in a good way, and a good reminder and eye opener for many like her and beyond, to not follow that path again.
After he concluded the song, the two came together, the Fennec and Leafeon sharing a kiss in front of the million of people out there, a final bow in front of the whole world to show they weren't lovers, but they did make a beautiful pair to work together with all they were good at.
After which, Dite went backstage, quickly shedding her costume somewhat as she panted, shivering as she was hugged from behind by the Fennec. "That... was amazing! I dare say, music-wise, you're provocative, and that's amazing! How the hell did you know that was going to be my idea for us all?" she asked, squeeing loudly in happiness and delight, hugging her friend, and partner close and tight, then smooched his face repeatedly, only to barrel-tackle her wife as soon as she saw her coming up to congratulate them both, grinning and sharing plenty of passionate kisses with the other leafeon. "Oh my God, this was the best idea you've had all century, hun! Thank you so much for suggesting this, and now, we're even more famous than we were!" she laughed like a hyperactive child, grinning as she tail wagged in delight. One had never seen her this hyperactive and ecstatic after a concert; this was a change that was a heart attack, and needless to say, the two girls soon laid eyes on the Fennec. "You're coming with us," they said at the same time, grabbing him by the coat and dragging him away, whether he liked it or not, back to their travelers' quarters, for some rather... effective practice that wasn't allowed on stage.
