State Laws.

so, thanks to Ohio politics being stupid, some new laws will be implemented, mainly one that means we now have to ID to view explicit content here in the state. worry not, i DO have a VPN and have had it for a while, but this is going to potentially mess up my posting schedule further as of this rate. I will try to keep ya'll in the loop, as the law goes into effect at the end of September. Hopefully i will have two stories and more art uploaded by then

I dunno how you feel about AI, but I know some folks generating fake IDs using AI to submit to these things. If it ever comes to my state/country, I'm planning on going that route.

i've worked and made money training AI LLM's before, and i regularly use AI chatbots. as of now though, i will intend to use a VPN as i work to gain enough money to possibly leave the country.

I've been considering leaving this shit hole too. Unfortunately, not many options are very likely/appealing.

Canada makes the most sense, but they have fallen victim to some of these stupid laws in the past too, and their entire economy is propped up by a very fragile real estate industry. It's pretty concerning.

I'd hate to drop over $1000 to get into their PNP program, only to maybe be accepted, maybe find a province to sponsor me, and then turns out--it's nearly as bad there as it is in the US...

That's been crazy--I've noticed a massive uptick in random people on Discord offering to draw for me, their prices (especially for what's being offered) being absolutely ridiculous. It's like--sure, I'd love to help, but if I helped everyone who asked I'd be living in a dumpster.

exactly, i'm not even making money myself yet, if i was, i'd put it back into comming others. being a living dumpster isn't smart
