Looks like it just got a lot harder for payment platforms to deny service to furry artists. Which is kewl. And before anyone says, "but mah paypal still suck". This new regulation doesn't go into effect for 180 days. To which I'm like, ok, why? lol like why wait 6 months? Eh, at least it's happening I guess.
technically but here's the thing, from what I've read, platforms like PP only do censoring because companies like mastercard are pressuring them to. A LOT of platforms and web sites have been pressured by the banks to censor and that might be coming to an end. Which would be amazing for the fandom.

I completely agree. There's also the bit in paypal's TOS that says they are allowed to look at all your banking statements if you link a bank account to your paypal. They are scum for sure. I'm just hoping this new executive order forces them to behave a little more. We'll find out this winter holiday season I suppose.

Yee, saw that. It is really aimed at political topics though... Whether NSFW artwork will gain anythingnfrom this remains to be seen. It hinges on whether that's "lawfull" enough. Furthermore, a right gained through an executive order are tricky to enforce as an individual if it's not a law yet... (and Trump has trouble putting most of his EOs into law).
