I'll update the journals as the situation continues, but seems my landlords are stating i didn't pay last month. I was served papers today saying we need to go to court on the 15th for non payment of rent. thing is, thanks to the hustle from these last two weeks and you awesome people, we DID get rent in. i have the receipt from the bank, i have the receipt from the front desk with THEY'RE SIGNATURE on it.
I cant talk to the lawyer and court till tomorrow morning, so we'll see then. In the mean time, I already have the proof and paperwork in a folder ready for if we have to show up. Beyond that, all I can do is keep working.
I still have 3 slots left and I'll be busting my ass this week (like the last 2) to get the remaining 550$ we need for this month (due the 7th). I'll see you in stream.
Update:
Thank you all again for the suggestions. i have records of the bank log when we got the check, a copy of them signing the receipt from the front desk, a copy of the check itself, and a receipt copy from the bank the day we got it.
