The new draconian laws being put in place within multiple countries, as well as card companies stamping the boot down on adult only content has really put a damper on my mood as of late. I despise the idea of the government trying to wrench control away from the populace by way of "think of the kids" (which I'm sure the politicians do all too often if you catch my drift)
It's sad that things have gotten so bad that people are starting to realise that maybe we're all the undesirables and that there is no such thing as "good" adult material to these "people". They want to crack down on our freedom, our art, and our privacy.
I use my art as an expression of myself in many different ways. Many taboo and icky ways to those outside this site. People will draw their OCs shitting in diapers or getting skinned alive, but as a sane, reasonable human, I can ignore that art. And it seems like people outside this site are realising that no matter how vanilla, they're still going to be put in the diaper shitting group because they draw porn.
I want to be optimistic, but when it's spreading like a cancer, it's really difficult to.
I'm unsure about how the general public feels about things like mandatory age-verification, but they're complete fucking idiots if they're in support of it. If it's about keeping your child away from adult material, then maybe you should fucking pay attention instead of scrolling tik tok all day.
To summarise this rant, I hate the censorship being enforced by companies, I hate the laws being put in place by dinosaurs in governments, and I hate how bleak the future looks.
