A warning before: I WILL use "some words" here, it WILL be a wall of text and i WILL rage. It is a serious topic we really REALLY need to talk about and should be taken serious. So PLEASE take you time if you willingly going to read this.
For a long time i tried to "ignore" the whole thing because it seem like another "drama" of those kinds.
As of late though, it feels like it gets not just out of hand, it feels like the people which do said NSFW stuff, Artwork-, Game- and NSFW Media pages are not just the ones which get tageted, they are also the ones which get blamed for "if" they not just offer this content but create or do "similar" stuff with it.
It all began already back with gamejolt where my adult games - as for a personal sample - got taken down because of a TOS-change. I didnt mind it at first but now since other platforms like Steam and Itch are doing similar and way to "vague" similar things as of late, stuff feels like its getting way out of hand - and im not just talking about the whole payment thing but also the whole "save the childrens!" side, formost to BE honest.

First of all,
You will and can not save "all" children. This has nothing to do that i "just say that" but look at samples we all should know from the past - like smoking or alcohol. If a teen wanted to smoke, they will find a way to get the stuff for it, no matter if you now need an ID card or something to buy or get cigarettes, they WILL find a way. And i stay with the sample here because im sure my generation (at least) can relate with that "somewhat".
If you wanted something, you get it. Was it a game, movie or cigarettes. You will find a way no matter what.
The problem as of than already was that the childs and teens got blamed if they watch/got said stuff they should not get - OR infact got asked from "who" they got the stuff.
Now think about this line because that is very important to our nowadays situation. Teens and Childs got ASKED from where they got the stuff. MOSTLY they got it "themselves" or, of course, from their parents (or in case of cigarettes, they just got or took them from them). Now think about whos to blame there. The problem as of NOWADAYS is that people, mostly parents, try to play the cards the different way and try to blame "us" creators, NSFW hosts and similar, that kids get in contact with this stuff way to easy. This is NOT our job to take care of Y O U R children.
If i post a picture MARKED on my pages AS "MATURE" or "ADULT" content, I literally did ANYTHING in MY positon AS creator OF SAID content to literally tell EVERYONE who wants to see it "Hey, you will see some boobs on this picture, noticed its literally marked as the content for mature/adult so, youre warned and look at your own risk".
You literally CANT blame us if YOUR CHILD gives a SHIT about this warnings, LIES to the page holders with AI-pictures, FAKED age certification AND gives a crap about anything which LITERALLY says that this "Child" WILL be now handled as "Adult" because of FAKED declarations and informations. This is NOT the fault of us if "we" get lied too.
THIS is a job of the PARENTS to take care of YOUR CHILDREN. We are NOT caretakes of every fucking child in this W-O-R-L-D W-I-D-E WEB. This is literally IMPOSSIBLE to do for the human beings at all, IN the internet, to take care of YOUR CHILDREN - and THIS is even worse if CHILDS tend to lie and breaking the rules ON. THEIR. OWN. AT FREEWILL. to get to the content they want but should not get in the first place.
If you parents need another sample to make it more clear:
Imagen. You walk with your child over a bridge and the bridge sides are like 4 feet tall (which infact is already pretty high). This is suppost to be save so that no normal being should think like to climb over it or think its unsave. If YOUR CHILD literally climbs over it, WILLINGLY ignoring this "save-sides" (or how ever you call them, basically the bridge railings is what im talking about) and that sometimes even infront of YOU or OTHERS.
If YOU dont hold your child back, it WILL jump or fall down. Will YOU blame others now for THIS misstake? Do YOU want to blame the ones which builded the bridge that those "save-sides" are "to small"? It is NOT a problem of the builders if you OR your child DOESNT care at all.
YOU are the one who is the caretaker. YOU are the parent. YOU cant blame others if YOU literally dont care OR your child is WILLINGLY doing what its not suppost to. YOU need to do your fucking parenting right. NOT. OTHERS.

As for the second point, the whole visa and payment pages and stuff basically doesnt want us to use them for NSFW stuff - well their lose i guess.
I mean, if my boss would tell me to color my hair because he doesnt like it - fucking deal with it. Seriously, Isnt it my privat thing if i have my hair brown and not, i duno, blue? Why, for GODS SAKE, SHOULD and DO those people even care? Like, WHY?
...*takes a deep breath* Look, BOTH topics are serious and should be taken serious as well BUT as "how" those topics are "rolled up" into the open, is wrong.
Again: Its already PROVEN that childs broke the new systems viva AI pictures and like which literally shows that the new system is already not working NOR worth the change NOR WILL it help ANY child IF the childs break the rules on themselves with something easy like AI anyway.
As for the payment stuff, again, it feels like that will not end well anyways and is basically an excuse to get rid of (internet) privacy - and im 100% sure noone really wants to lose that.
