I'm incubating a story. lIke most of my stories, this ends with the main character (MC) - a 7yo boy - getting snuffed.
It started out as a shota story. The MC, a voluntary sexual slave, would violate one of his master's rules and gets strangled to death as punishment(*). I came up with several ideas for what he did wrong, but none of them worked.
So I'm starting over. The master wants to buy a new slave, but is already at the limit of what the laws allow, so he has to get rid of one. And the MC volunteers. I'm pretty sure I can make this work.
But that change opened up possibilities. I can write it with a female MC just as well as a male one. And the MC can be an adult just as easily as a child.
(*) Actually, that's an oversimplification. The MC auditions for the starring role in a snuff film with the theme I mentioned above, and gets the part.
