Hey folks,
as you’ve probably noticed, my submissions are back online. The issue was that Inkbunny doesn’t allow advertising your Patreon on AI-generated posts. I had done that, so my posts were taken down. Fair enough!
So, am I pissed off? Nope!
I actually had a constructive chat with a moderator who explained the situation to me and helped me figure out a way to keep my submissions online while still being able to mention that I have other platforms — just without explicitly advertising. I made the changes, and now everything’s back to normal.
And honestly, I’m not even disappointed that this rule exists. If anything, it shows that it's the result of a compromise meant to support both traditional artists and AI content creators (who I definitely also consider artists — but more on that in another journal). Let's not forget: Inkbunny is one of the few places where AI art and traditional art can coexist peacefully. That doesn’t just happen by accident — it’s a valuable situation that’s worth preserving. Mutual respect makes that possible, and that only works if both sides are willing to meet each other halfway.
I think that’s a good thing, and I want to encourage everyone to keep living that spirit of respect and tolerance. And of course, I’m always happy and grateful for your continued support — whether it's through likes, comments, or even backing me on Patreon!
All the best,
Kovu
