Stop Mastercard and Visa hate towards NSFW content (Link inside)

As you may know payment processors has been oversteping on how we can use our money, what we buy and what we publish.
I believe FA rules were changed because of this, wasn't it? Alongside others, and now Steam and Itchio are being targeted. All NSFW creators just got delisted from itchio and Steam had to remove some games because of this.
If you live in the US you can attempt to do something about it by signing a petition.

Spread the word so we can attempt this from snowballing into something worse.

You can find the link here: https://action.aclu.org/petition/mastercard-sex-work-wo...

For those that don't know, the group is a "grassroots activism" from Australia that are also hypocrites.

I 100% think these guys are also responsible for Pixiv's purge from January 2024, they're a goddamn plague, no one should dictate what content ADULTS should buy/consume with their hard earned money, either SFW or NSFW.

They are. They're going after Japanese payment processors as well.

Pixiv also had an issue where a CSAM group has used their CDN to host CSAM that was found in an investigation.  Why the same nuclear-option response doesn't also apply to just about every social media website and every major CDN on the planet is beyond me.

And also - I'm not sure this petition covers anything more than PornHub or OnlyFans or similar sites.  Maybe it does?  But "sex workers" typically isn't a common term used to refer to adult artists.  Not to mention the political bar to pressure payment processors against this mandate for services featuring nudes of flesh-and-blood performers is *much* higher than the bar for artwork.  This petition is setting itself an extra difficult fight by aiming *way* too high.

we gotta fight back. Sex-work is work. No matter how much they want to act like its it not, it is! These performers, artists and consumers of adult content DESERVE the same right to privacy and pay like any other person.

Not just the U.S. this is worldwide. Creators of adult content on itch.io steam from other countries are also affected.

Don't just email them. And I'm pretty sure they wouldn't listen to a petition tbh as they've not acknowledged some others like those. CALL THEM.

Force them to use actual humans as communication instead of automated bots. Emails and anything written are a lot easier for them to ignore. Ya'll gotta flood them with calls, bc it took only (keyword being only) 1000 Christofascists calling them to get this to happen anyways. Overpower the contact call centers. (But don't be dicks to the call center people, they aren't the ones behind this shit). File that complaint by phone.

And if they push you to email them, don't fall for it, push to call them. They're actively trying to request and thus redirect people to ways they can ignore the backlash in. Don't let them get the easy way out.

YES!

They can always kinda ignore these emails but having to deal with tons of angry callers even if you are only reaching the lowest levels on a call center will cost them pretty penny.

Just execute Order 66 over ALL Christofascists / Activists.

In the most idiosyncratic things out there, the payment processors don't care, the banks don't care, and the activist groups who you think are pushing this aren't the ones responsible for the bans.
