Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for a STATUS UPDATE~!!!
Okay, let me be completely honest... I haven't written a thing recently. I just haven't had the urge. I've got a BUNCH of stories in progress which I'll talk about, but to be honest, the only thing I've been working on has been my artwork. Thanks a bunch to
, who has been tutoring me and helping me improve immensely. I have a TON of artwork in progress which I'll be posting as soon as it's inked and ready.
As for my stories... I'm suffering from too many ideas and not enough time, effort, and motivation to write 'em. Frankly, I'm almost debating giving away some of them, because I KNOW they'll never get written while I'm so busy with college, my new art, and just TONS of RL distractions. *Sighs heavily.* HOWEVER, I will make an attempt to get SOMETHING done. I'm also debating putting a call out for a writing partner. Maybe if I had some help, someone to collaborate with, I'd be more productive. I'll think on this for a while.
Now, for what you REALLY care about... My stories in progress!!! Let's go down the list...:
Sonic: Changes: Still don't have a better title for this story. It's a short one that'll bring some necessary changes to the SS250 Sonicverse in order to actually let me WRITE most of my later ideas... I'd call it less than 50% complete... And hopefully more soon if I can either get off my butt or get some help.
Sonic Cubs: Sally and the Source: A brand new story series in an alternate universe where all the Sonic characters are still kids... This one's a fun one that I've been planning for a while. HOWEVER, the first chapter's not even 5% complete. >_>;;;; And yes, the Source refers to the "Source of All." Speculate all you want. ;3
Knothole Nightmares: ...Nothing happening with these. I might give away my ideas. >_>;;;
Digimon Defenders 4: 40% maybe? It's coming along, but I need time to just sit and pound away at it... but no motivation at the moment.
Pokemon Battle Kingdom 4: 20% at most... Again, need time and motivation.
Gold Digger-themed gift story for a friend: ...Probably 35% complete. I owe a friend a story and I'm chipping away at it slowly, but surely.
That's about it, honestly. I might have some other stuff in my head, but nothing on paper.
And in other news, My Sonic Hypnosis Contest continues!!!! It is now HALFWAY THROUGH THE CONTEST, and I have only received ONE submission in progress!!! I don't know if I don't have any interest, or if no one's participating or what, but unless I receive at least FIVE submissions by the due date... and good ones... I will call this contest off. To remind you, everything is due ON NEW YEAR'S EVE AT MIDNIGHT!!!

Speaking of Sonic, it's time for SS250'S OPINIONS!!! Today's Subject... The Princess Sally redesign!!!
...I don't hate it. I CAN'T hate it. For those of you who have been living under a rock, Princess Sally got roboticized in the comics. I have my own opinion on THAT, but I'm keeping that to myself for now. However, she's getting deroboticized... and they're using the opportunity to redesign her character's appearance. ...And ya know what? I like it. I can't hate it, because it's bringing Sally back... and honestly, it's not a bad design. The only problem I have with it are the missing cheek-ruffs. It makes her face too round. The cheek-fluffs would break it up a bit, making it look a little more "natural."
And in honor of Sally's return, I am making a pledge right now. I stopped reading the Archie Sonic comics after issue 100, which was a MASSIVE letdown (which I'm not going into right now). I've only read one or two issues since then (although I've generally kept up with events in the comic), but now... Starting TODAY, I am going to download EVERY SINGLE ISSUE OF SONIC THE HEDGEHOG up to the present date and read it, so I can more accurately criticize and talk about it. ...Wish me luck. ^^;
