I’m doing this, guys, so that you’re informed—don’t think I’ve disappeared. I’m about to finish the construction of my new home, a project that has taken the last 3 years and is now finally taking shape.
That’s what has kept me more occupied than usual, supervising the workers—you know, with all the mistrust and such. Besides, I’ve had to make sure they stay hydrated; these days have been quite hot. But it’s the kind of weather that’s great for concrete work.
Two weeks of labor, and fortunately, not a single workday—especially those involving concrete—was ruined by rain. The first stage, which was finishing the floor, is now complete.
Next week I’ll be catching up on pending work, so be ready. August won’t start very pleasantly for me, but I have faith everything will turn out well.
