Wow. I can't believe it's been a year already. Actually a year plus five days...but who's counting? :o)
In this time I've posted over 20 short stories (of highly variable quality, lol), plus a couple world primers. I've met a lot of lovely people and made some real friendships too. I've earned 314 watchers and nearly 30,000 submission views already and I am so excited to see where we'll get in the next year of doing this. I've even had the honor to collaborate with a handful of talented artists whose work I really adore, and with their help, have brought some moments from Aardvark Heights to life. How awesome is that?
To everyone here, thank you so much. I really appreciate your readership, friendship, feedback and even just the numbers-go-up-ness of your clicks for those who aren't comfortable enough to engage any other way.
This has been an awesome experiment, and I'm looking forward to continuing it with everyone that's joined me along the way, and the new folks we're welcoming to Aardvark Heights (and other places, soon) as well.
There are some really fun things cooking right now, as well as the continuation of some community favorites. I can't wait to share this stuff with you.
