I miss the numbers on Discord...

I'm starting to really not appreciate random people are guessing my Name on Discord without my permission or worse, scammers targeting me. Its either I have to put a number myself or change my name to be something unrecognizable. And I truly dislike that. Please, for the love of God, DO NOT ADD ME WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!

Why did Discord remove the numbers thing for Discord users anyway?

The numbers after your username? That still exists I think. You can just go to profile settings and toggle "Legacy Username Badge" which then adds the original numbers back after your name, but I don't remember if that's only for you.

You could also just go to settings and then "Content & Social" and simply scroll down until you find the Friend requests section and just turn the ones off that you don't like friend requesting you.
