I think subscribestar no longer works for me. People have complained that they get declined when they try to signup.

A new person hasn't signed up since April. Usually I get 1 or 2 a month to replace the 1 or 2 people that leave.

Pretty sure I've been shadowbanned. Unfortunately I don't have any real recourse, their staff is actively ignoring emails and calls.

I'll keep it going for those still supporting me but I'll probably stop linking people to it until I can confirm that it works again.

Substar doesn't work. Simple as that, keeps rejecting payments and the staff is useless.

I doubt there even is a staff anymore. It's a shame... it was the only subscription service that really let me post everything without censorship.

yeah subscribestar has been a corpse for a while and now its starting to outright rot these past few years :/

I don't think they would have a reason to shadowban You, that site is just pure incompetence on all levels of its administration and functions like a mediocre IT project made for university classes~
I do remember trying to make a proper account there once. Was uploading content on it weekly, as I do on all sites despite the account being stuck on "pending verification". After around 3 months of weekly posts and never-ending "pending verification" I've gave up on it and left it be. Fast forward two years later, got reminded about its existance, logged in, it was still "pending verification" so I just deleted it xD

Oh for sure... the site has always had very spotty customer service. I registered my account near the beginning of its existence so they were approving accounts at a normal rate then.

But there isn't really any other reason that no one can make a purchase that some sort of problem with my account. Folks have subbed to other artists/creators on Substar with no problem but if they try mine they get the error. Which leads me to believe there is a ban of some kind on my account.

I've done a bit of digging and apparently there some bots and stuff that can flag your account page for certain things. Its possible my content is no longer welcome on their TOS. Apparently they also flag accounts for visiting Patreon/Fanbox/Substar aggregator sites as well.
