Indeed a sad loss, a major hole in the art world, and the world of people.  Thank you for the IB message.  Wishing for the mending of hearts - love you Roarey

I was just looking at his art the other day! Very few talked about his passing.

Putting aside my disdain for him because of past interactions, he sadly alienated himself from much of the community's around the late 2010s to early 2020s. He kinda let political discourse consume him, his art, his personality and whatnot, and made a lot of statements or art that came off as controversial.

In rare cases, it was small talk between him and I. This is a vague memory, but I was on his tele server, and he was rude towards me because I asked a question. I have since stopped interacting with him.

This is true, he did let political discourse consume himself like you said, even if many of us did agree with him.  Not all of us view that men pretending to be women are real women, and basically I saw him as being the boy who saw that the emperor had no clothes.  I wonder if he knew he was about to die and wanted to get all his opinions out before he passed on.

I think the issue with whole "man pretending to be a woman" thing is that that's a matter of basic human decency, as long as said trans person is kind or just trying to exist, which sadly a lot of folks don't care about when attacking. It feels less like an opinion one has because of experience but rather one formed from religious and political doctrine.

I think that the idea of people objecting to those who pretend to be the opposite gender is that fact that they are forced to play in their pretense.  Should actual women be compelled to let men who claim to be women to be in their places, such as bathrooms, or for that matter have them compete as women in sports?  It's a fact that you cannot call yourself a Chippewa Indian if you are not of Chippewa Indian descent, or a military veteran if you were never in the military.  Plenty of women say this who are not radical feminists or religious believers, which from what I heard Roarey was neither.

Yes, I know I am sounding like Roarey did, and I don't want this to turn into a fight.  But I am willing to bet that most women don't like the idea of men pretending to be women in their areas.

I think, if somebody is willing to put in the effort with voice training, extensive HRT and possible other surgeries, physical and mental therapy to help them through the process, as well as cleanliness, they shouldn't be shamed or pushed away. I'm not talking about the creeps who put on a dress to go into bathrooms, but to consider those douches the same as people who genuinely are trying is disingenuous at best. On the topic of transgender folks, people always seem to forget trans males. Is it not as much of an issue in reverse? I know of some trans male actors who I legitimately didn't know were trans, so is that half usually ignored by transphobes or the like because of how much harder it is to distinguish?
