Hey there, it's SatsumaLord here; sorry to be quiet for a while about what's been going on with me in life, it's just been a lot this past month. ^_^;
For starters, I had to invest in a new (or rather, new-ish) car, since my previous one was no longer viable for me. I then had to spend the last several weeks just to make sure that it was safe to drive (either by doing the repairs myself or by taking it to a repair shop), since I wasn't exactly in a position to get something that was truly new.
Thankfully it wasn't a complete lemon, but it was definitely a fixer-upper.
In addition, my mom had to undergo surgery to get a weird growth removed. It turned out to be benign, so at least it wasn't something more serious; but it's a situation where she needs to be resting and recuperating for a while, so naturally, I have to keep tabs on her to make sure that she's not overexerting herself.
And of course, that's not even counting the smaller things that have been a problem for me lately (like the various home improvement projects I've been getting roped into by my father here lately).
Anyway, with all of that said, I do apologize for everyone that's commissioned me, as it is my intention to try and get back into working on what I still owe later this week, if not even later today.
Furthermore, while I do need to see about raising more funds to cover expenses (like the car repair stuff I've mentioned earlier), it's my intention to try and finish up the current queue of commissions first before I really take on new ones. With that said though, I hope to do some more adoptables in the very near future, to try and help get the funds I'd need to cover expenses; though if anyone wants to send in donations, they're more than welcome to do so over on my Ko-fi, linked below.
And of course, I always have my Patreon page, which has a lot of new stuff featured on there, where I'll hopefully have even more art to show you guys on there in the near future.
