Reading more and future plans

Gosh, I’m so glad to see watchers and favorites.  I guess this is thank you for 50 watchers.  I’m excited to keep tracking along with my writing.

My motivation for writing has gone up and down, mostly as editing is very necessary with my drafts… I am such a terrible speller that it likely shows especially with over relying on spell check and drafting and redrafting, but I think I’m getting the hang of writing!  I never got into creative writing in school, and it occurs to me now how long it had been since then.  I’m turning 31 soon and it’s scary to me even if I am not the oldest, how long it has truly been.

My goal has been to try and get something I can post everywhere about once a month, and throw cub stories in when I can too.  I think I’m already behind that schedule, and have a some editing and writing ahead of me.
Next will be Hunter and Myst’s first date.  It’s also a part one of a story, and do want to follow up with a second part.
After that will try and get the second half of Oren’s adventure in the dungeon done.  I know a few stories he will have after that.
I got a diaper story in the works too that will lead into a request I got a while ago but was waiting for a few pieces to fall into place mentally for me first.
So lots of ideas, lots of follow-ups on other ideas too!

Writing more has opened me up to note taking everything more which is super motivational for me it seems.  Tv shows, write a bit of plot synopses maybe my thoughts and it’s good!  More audiobooks too.  4 since I started this and it’s been good.  I feel like I am watching the structure in the way I didn’t look at before.  I am not comparing my writing to novels or anything like that but it acts as lessons I am considering how to put into action.

Odd that I can’t sit and read but when I go to paw off a screen of text is so much more my speed.  Maybe will have to try book books again though.  I have a good amount of not smut on my reading list it’s good!

Well there are some thoughts.  Thank you for taking the time to read this and anything else I have written.

Also, feel free to leave creepy comments or whatever. Either criticism of my writing, or enjoyment.  I don’t think there is much higher praise than saying a story of mine inspired… let’s say ‘the intended reaction in the reader’.  I love to hear it!

Gonna have to carefully examine every one of those stories for errant signs of lycanthropy - sneaky werewolves get in everywhere.

One day, I should get a ref sheet for Hunter.  I always see him as a large gray wolf, I wouldn't tend to call it a werewolf, but you are free to look at him that way.  If I end up writing something where I can have Alex cameo or something, I will message!

one of the best way to grow as a writer is to read voraciously~

i can't find it but iirc Mark Twain also said that you should read bad books in addition to good ones, so you can see what makes them bad and avoid it in your own writing. But i can't find this quote at all so maybe i hallucinated it x3
