Closing commissions + some news <3

Howdy, my fluffies!❤️
This post was long overdue, but I couldn’t find the right words for a while and tried my best to fix everything—though, unfortunately, not everything can always be fixed q^Q

Anyway... This has been a really tough year. Even though I’ve been safe and far from the worst events, the widespread crisis has been catching up with everyone around me. I had to take on a lot of commissions and projects to pay rent and survive in a new city, but I slightly overestimated myself and my mental health.  >///<"...

But! I won’t say I’ve burned out—not at all! Owo
I adore every idea you bring to me and love exploring new possibilities. However, the workload became too much, and many of my pieces started taking over 100 hours of pure worktime. This post isn’t meant to blame anyone—not at all—I just wanted to explain and share what’s been happening all this time.  qwq

I started struggling with the sheer amount of work, and I’ll need to return to my hometown to sort things out a little.

All your comissions will be completed—I’m keeping track in a spreadsheet to make sure no one is forgotten, so you don’t need to worry about that. ❤️
Mentally, I can’t allow myself to rush and deliver poor-quality work, which is why everything has taken so long. I know this might be a downside for some, but I don’t want to compromise this aspect of my work.

Due to everything going on, I’ll have to temporarily close commissions so I can give each order proper attention and stabilize the situation. But I’ll definitely reopen them and stay available! I’ll also keep making YCHs and adopts from time to time, so I’m not going anywhere!

If you’d like and are able to support me, you can check out my new adopts or YCHs—but only if it doesn’t harm your own situation, since times are hard for everyone right now.

And they really are. But after every dark streak comes a bright one, so we just have to keep moving and doing our best. ❤️

Thank you so much for sharing all of this with us. I can only imagine how hard it must’ve been to write it all out, but I’m really glad you did. From the works I've seen of yours prior to doing a commission, you’ve always poured so much love, time, and care into your art, and it truly shows in every piece you create.

Please don’t ever feel bad for needing time or space. You’re a person first, and you deserve the same kindness and patience you’ve always given to others. I'm really proud of you for recognizing your limits and choosing to protect your well-being, even when things get overwhelming. That takes real strength.

I’ll keep supporting you however I can, even if it’s just with kind words and cheering you on from the sidelines. You’ve already given us so much through your beautiful art and warm spirit, and I hope you know just how deeply loved and appreciated you are! ^^

Take all the time you need to rest, reset, and take care of yourself. We’ll still be here, rooting for you. You’re not alone, and your work (and especially you) have made such a difference I can imagine :)

Sorry to hear, but I'm glad to know what happened at least. Being in a near constant state of burnout myself of late, and also unreasonably critical of my own work sometimes, I understand. Take all the time you need; I am nothing if not patient.
