While I don't completely disagree with the sentiment, there are less blunt ways to phrase it, and the offered reduction is a bit much. $35-40 per character is usually where a lot of people jump in. Maybe as high as $60 per character, though making offers for the different types of comm would help too, "$30 for uncolored lineart, $40-$50 for Flats, $70-$80 for Full Render", all per character. Background price could go up a bit, maybe to $35-ish? Having more options helps a commissioner think of how best to get what they want, without dropping a paycheck on one drawing, and doing that reduces the art workload with the limitations applied.
