I am going to be moving in August. Unlike all my previous moves, this one is probably the one I am most nervous and also excited about. I am nervous because I will be moving from a state with very strong protections for queer and trans people, to one with fewer protections. However, I am also excited because the reason I am moving is because I want to be closer to my long distance boyfriend. There are several other reasons why this is going to be an emotional move, but I don’t want to get into all of the details.
What I DO want to get into, is that moving several states away comes with a hefty price tag. And, with my specific profession, summer means less work and lower pay. To make up for that, I will be drawing more and trying to take more commissions. My streaming schedule starting Sunday June 15th until Thursday July 31st will be:
Sunday 4:00 - 7:00 PM
Tuesday 4:00 - 7:00 PM
Thursday 4:00 - 7:00 PM
Saturday 4:00 - 7:00 PM
In August, I will need a week or two to unpack, set up utilities, and get settled into the new area. But after the initial move in period, I will resume this streaming schedule likely for the rest of the month, then once the academic year starts at my new job in late August or early September, I will adjust this streaming schedule to better align with my free time during the year.
