I don't know if they'll have a writer section. I'm really hoping they do. I know IB has been having some controversial issues for some time, especially concerning AI, and also the anti-nonfurry stuff. I don't know too many details about what Kammy is going to be doing, I'm not a part of any of it, I only just heard about it today. However, I do support people trying to give us more places to exist.
Now, I'm not leaving IB or anything. It's still one of the few places friendly to my style of stories around. I refuse to go to AO3 for many reasons, some of them personal (I can go into it if people want). This is just me informing people of some new shiny to keep an eye on.

A ban on AI generated slop would certainly be a positive... Glad it's not allowed on FA, but DA is positively infested, and so is IB. Honestly rather frustrating.

Wish they were the only places with that problem. E- and Ex-Hentai are both absolutely flooded with it, as is Sanaku, ATF, Gurochan, and so many other places. Even without the controversy associated with it, the problem is that it's just a flood of samey bullshit that drowns out everything else. At least IB lets you block the tags for it (when people bother to put the proper tags on it, at least...)

Yeah, I also stopped using Art Station (something I thought I could use as a more professional portfolio) because they literally allowed for AI scrubbing of their entire database. And then 6 months later the first AI generated reference books started getting sold over there.
