An update

Hello, everybody!

To any of my followers who were really hoping for sequels, continuations and new, exciting stuff, sorry. I know I've been gone for a long time but life's just been very chaotic for me. Things haven't really turned out as I hoped all those years ago and I've struggled a lot with my mental health. Between unemployment, loneliness and feelings of inadequacies, I just couldn't write for fear of failing even that, I suppose. I started numerous stories, got pretty far in quite a few even, but eventually, my focus and energy petered out and they were left unfinished. And the pile of unfinished stories only made me all that much more depressed.

So, again, sorry about that. I'm sure there's plenty of people who can sympathize and relate. I am not unique.

But, that's not what this is about. As of February this year, I've been employed full time. And while it doesn't leave me with a lot of free time, necessarily, it has given me a LOT of stability, in life and finances as well as mentally. I'm not QUITE there yet, I still have a lot to work on when it comes to myself but I feel better than I have in years.

And I am officially back to writing. About two weeks ago, I was listening to one of my favorite bands, Gunship, and their album Unicorn and somehow, for some reason, a story just popped into my head unbidden and it's been eating away at me ever since. I've been workshopping the story in my head since and I'm pretty satisfied with what I got. Now, all I have to do, is put pen to paper (figuratively, I write on a computer).

The story is fairly extensive, it will take a while to write, and I'm unsure of how I will release it. As one, large story or part by part. It's a story set in a cyberpunk world and the major theme is romance with a pretty significant age difference. If you've read some of my stuff, you kinda know what my themes typically are and it'll be along those lines.

So, my question is simply this: what would you suggest the best way to release the story would be? Chapter by chapter? This could mean several chapters at once, if they're short enough, or just a single chapter if it's big enough. Or the whole thing in one release?

And also, if anyone wants to volunteer to read it ahead of release, feel free to message or leave a comment here and I'll get back to you. Having someone to bounce an idea or two with never hurts.

I'm so glad you're back and that things are starting to look up! Personally I like to read stories chapter by chapter, trying to navigate a wall of text on Inkbunny isn't impossible but it can be a little annoying. Really glad to hear from you, looking forward to reading soon!

Thank you kindly. I am leaning towards part by part, it'll be good to get something out and get some feedback. Appreciate the kind words.
