First Anniversary AMA

Hey there!

Just wanted to do a silly thing to signify my first year here!
I know it has been pretty quiet in the Unamused front!
So here is a journal AMA to cheer things up a little.

You are in a Saw like trap. In front of you there are three buttons and three screens showing a person in three different rooms. The person on the left is mortally wounded and is begging to be killed to end their pain. The person in the middle is a serial killer and will gl out and kill again. And the person on the right is a hired hitman to only kill you. Now each button under the screen will kill the person in the room but you can only choose two. No matter what you are guaranteed release unless you don’t kill the person on the right.

What two buttons do you choose? Also is there any inspiration from other places that help create some of your characters?

Oh man. That's a pretty hard choice.
I don't have much value in my own life (oops)
Nor do I want to save a serial killer.
Having to save someone that's mortally wounded is a double edged sword, especially if it's really fatal and they're begging for death.
Hmm.
Well, I guess left and middle are going to go. Unless I can choose one, then only only middle gets it. :p
"I guess I'll just die then." *Shug meme*

I have a lot of inspiration from other works.
Sometimes I worry it verges into plagiarism. :c
One thing is naming conventions. Some characters have names inspired by various things I'm interested in.
Such as Captain William Sullivan being named after William Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan.
And Alonso being named after Alonso Quixano, the famous literary character Don Quixote!
Funnily both of these examples are very villainous figures, yet, named after things I like.

Design wise, my characters for the most part are pretty simple. I've been considering making some more 'out there' characters.

Though general inspiration I'd probably say, uh, my strongest sources are: Warhammer 40k, Old Star Wars EU, old sci fi stuff in general, looking at history stuff, and some parts my own life -the more mundane portions, rather than anything fantastical.-
