I finally know, I'M NOT A FURRY. And that's great.

5 years ago, I started drawing sexy furries because I was really passionate about it, I loved a lot of furry characters, but I never fit in with the community 100%. Because a modern furry usually follows a pattern of behaviors that don't agree with me. I don't dress up as a furzona, I don't go to furry conventions, I'm not interested in the idea of having sex while dressed as an animal. And something very important: I DON'T ROLE PLAY. I only draw what I want, when I want...

But today, something happened that completely destroyed my chances of being a furry.
You see, yesterday I created an account on a page called Stellarfur. I intended to start something new and meet more people. But this morning, my Stellarfur account was banned. The site simply left me the message: ""You have been permanently banned from this forum. Reason for ban: Clear history of inappropriate behavior on other platforms. I strongly believe you are not compatible with our community "".
Those words were a turning point. So... "I'm not compatible"... I realized, that it is true.

I have no doubt, this supposed "history of inappropriate behavior" refers to the time I made that damn pro-Trump post in November of last year, since then I have not stopped being attacked and demonized by other users, some even spread horrible lies about me and I was defamed, I suffered discrimination and exclusion, just because of my different way of thinking. And since then I understood that an average furry is leftist, and extremely anti-Trump. And it's obvious, being attracted to sexualized animal drawings isn't VERY CONSERVATIVE, let's say🙃

But, I keep drawing my porn because I like it, and I am who I am, that's great and I'm proud. I don't belong to the furry community in the behavioral sense. But I am more of an artist than many.

I will continue, I will inevitably find intolerant and separatist people but I'm going to fly over them. I don't need a page with exclusionary rules like stellarfur, they miss me.

Same here.  I'm more of a porn artist than furry.  I have no desire or intention of wearing a fursuit but I'm am curious about furcons though I never been to one.

I guess there are many levels and categories of furry, I'm one of those who only draw their favorite characters, I'll start adding humans to my gallery soon and I'll be like you (a rule34 artist and not just a furry)

That's not what I wrote. Your verbatim ban reason:
"Evident history of toxic behavior on other platforms. Several users have come forward with evidence of your behavior on other platforms, and I thoroughly believe that you would not be a good fit in our community."

Multiple individuals came forward expressing discomfort having you in the community, given the evidence they all separately provided from multiple websites and what I've seen myself from your accounts, I agreed with their concerns and removed you from our forum.

The rules on our forums are fairly laid back and those rules have a link visible at the top header of every page on the site. While we try to be fairly hands off, we reserve every right to remove or restrict users who have shown patterns of hateful speech, harassment, and/or toxicity on other platforms and may attempt to continue that behavior on Stellarfur. This is not a common action for us to take, our banlist is in the single digits with over 500 active users after over a year. But when multiple separate trusted people in the community reach out to me about someone who could be a potential problem, I'm going to take a deep look into their concerns.

Yes, I knew it. My "toxic behavior pattern" was that post from November last year, and a few arguments with annoying users.
I'm currently a bit indifferent to my ban, it was just one page out of dozens that I can use.

I could go into excruciating detail as to WHY explicitly you got banned, I mean in actuality the reason why, but I'll just sum up that the post above us lays it all out pretty clear...

that forum caters heavily to a serten group, you, at one point, criticized that group in some way, Several Exceedingly toxic members of said group have taken to useing that forum since they now believe IB to be a hate sight XD so they all decided to exclude you from there inclusive safe space!

Isnt this just a glowing example of How we all need to take a deep look at ourselves and make sure we're not subscribing to the wrong thoughts and ideas, and never, ever look in a mirror. XD

All that aside, None of that makes you a furry or not XD it just means your not going to fit in with that places particular brand of ideological echo chamber.

You're welcome to make up whatever nonsense you'd like, but my reasoning stands.

Stellarfur is first and foremost queer, and has been since the beginning.

The idea that people with a reputation for downplaying queer struggles, toxicity towards queer people, and/or engaging in bad faith arguments against queer people (among other things) should be allowed to join a predominately-queer website is ridiculous. If multiple reputable active members of the community are concerned about someone of that stature participating, I'm going to take their concerns to heart. You wouldn't let a fox stay in a hen house just because the fox hasn't done anything yet in your hen house.

Just pointing out that Furf Decided to make the comment above behind the protective bastion of already having blocked...so I cannot retort, or discuss, or clarify or engage in any way... cowardice is something I'm becoming increasingly used so I'm going to take a page from there playbook and just start blocking anybody who already has me blocked...since there perfectly happy to use the block tool as a weapon instead of its intended purpose as a way to stop people from being abusive. Ive run into mroe then a few people who have preemtively blocked me without even speaking to me but with a little research I find there mostly part fo the same social and TG groups and there just listening to there leaders opinions...sad...

by all means if your the kind of person who would block for an opinion or along ideological lines, please point yourself out so I can just avoid interacting with you at all. XD

My only account is this one created exactly 5 years ago, and the user ineeddatyifff he's been here for 5 years and 8 months, even before I arrived.
Ask an admin if you don't believe it, maybe they have a way to see if two accounts belong to the same device or the same IP address.

Open-mindedness is the most important thing, I am aware that my target audience is people who do not share my opinion on some things. But that doesn't matter, at the end of the day the only thing that interests me is that my furry drawing is seen and appreciated by many

Yeah, I had the same thing happen to me. I joined a furry dating site, looking for a partner and my account was banned in less than a day for the same reason. Looked at my activity on inkbunny and just nuked me.

Don't let 1 incident on a stupid site stop you from loving what you do. There are a few furry dating sites out there and they are all fuckin cliques. Don't waste your time on them, I mean sites like that.

Same thing with me and yugioh. I hate how overly competitive it's become and the 90% of the users are assholes but I still love the concept. You can do the same with being a furry. You're always going to have people who want to shit on everything you like or be dicks cause you're not using a fabric that cost $300 per square foot.

It kinda bugs me, truth be told.

I'm not a Trumper, far from it (I'm a Longist, economically speaking, through and through), but I don't like the idea of getting rid of those who disagree with me. I suppose I'm quite left wing, socially speaking, but I only object to people being dicks (which I wouldn't say you have been, based on what I know). I am disliked by both ends of the spectrum, and that gives me the freedom to associate (more so than usual).

I stand by what I said on my last journal post, however.

The furry fandom has always been left wing, since the early days (since none of you signed up for a history lesson, I'll be brief). The degree as to how left wing the fandom is has shifted, especially now that politics is getting more and more polarised, but conservatism in the fandom has always been small. It doesn't help that a lot of conservative furries have less than stellar reputations (I won't name names, but if you know, you know), so any attempts at extending olive branches is unlikely to work very well.

I suppose my point is that being left wing isn't a prerequisite to being in the fandom, but left wing people tend to flock to the fandom because of A - all the porn, and B - all the left wing people already in it. Nowadays, it kinda feels like the furry fandom isn't much to do with anything distinctly furry, and that it's nowadays just a collection of people who go "ah yes, let's kiss the ass of this fursuiter we made popular because he/she happens to be a fursuiter".

That's the sad truth of it, the furry fandom is generally just one big popularity contest nowadays, and all we can hope for is a kind of renaissance, and hopefully a collective agreement that we shouldn't be constantly at war with each other over usually minor differences in doctrine and taste in porn.
