Okay but for real literally I knew about this revival for a while and that Bobbypills (makers of Peepoodo and the Super Fuck Friends and Captain Laserhawk are one of the main studios attached to it despite them not being allowed to admit it according to linkedin because Bobbypills only makes adult cartoons.
I expect the new Gumball from that knowledge to be a lot raunchier and meaner than the original series considering the target audience are now much older and ngl the idea of Gumball transitioning to an adult cartoon on Hulu after such a raunchy Season 6 is probably the best way to have revived the show. Here's hoping its good but that teaser is the best Gumball I've seen since The Console and The Disaster/The Rerun so yeah we are in a storm of peak media next to New Panty and Stocking and Switch 2 and The Translyvania Adventure of Simon Quest. Please resolve The Void plot in The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball I'm no longer waiting for that Gumball movie when Bluey The Movie and The Legend of Zelda's Movie is coming.
