Cost: Cost is $22 per 1k words with a 2k word minimum. There is a separate fee for hidden commissions.
If I go over the agreed upon amount, the cost isn’t added to you. The only cost is the specific amount of words you would like.
I will edit your story in under 3 weeks (on the high end) for 5k words, 6 weeks (on the high end) for under 10k words, and so on. I do a multi-pass edit so this is a slower process: I reread your story days after finishing writing it, then again days after that (a time separation from writing to try to catch any errors my mind will look over the first day due to it being fresh in my head). Usually do around 3-4 times rereading it through with a fine tooth comb so it comes out.
If you would like a quicker edit process, depending on length it may be an extra fee, as I will have to break into my schedule doing other things.
Changes: Depending on length of story, I will send drafts out to make sure you enjoy the direction I'm going. (For something like only 2k works, it'd be quite direct from what we discussed and therefore no real huge change in direction should happen.)
If while reading my drafts you would like a change a direction for a character or a plot, let me know before it goes too far in that direction. Please do not wait until the story is done to let me know you would like to change the entire thing.
If you decide after the story is fully written that you want to change a plot point, an added fee could be added with how big of the plot is changed.
