Hello everyone. I wanted to issue a warning for anyone considering commissioning m1lkreXxX. About 3 months ago I put in a YCH request, paid and purchased a YCH from them. 3 months later I haven’t received an update, sketch or anything regarding it. Recently it has come to light that VARIOUS others have been waiting for over 6 months for things THEY have purchased themselves and paid for from this artist. For anyone who is considering commissioning, purchasing, or doing other business from them, I would highly advise AGAINST it at this current point in time. They are going around playing clean up currently, deleting shouts that mention unreceived product and more.
Milk is clearly avoiding anything regarding their failure to deliver product to ANYONE by deleting it off of public spaces where users can see it. The journal in mention is over 2 weeks old at this point. And suddenly they’re now posting new adopts for sale without delivering current products.

STAY CLEAR IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE SCAMMED. As this user seemingly has new issues weekly to avoid delivering. I understand having stuff pop up, but keeping purchasers in the dark is not okay and completely ignoring them while making money is WORSE.
I have no hatred on waiting for art.. but I fell for the lies and deception. This artist was on my radar for a while and it’s a shame to see what’s happened to me and others.

I have recently discovered the artist is a prior scam artist known as chloeelaw, this artist took tons of money from people prior and abandoned their account since to create the new Milkie account. The same thing will more than likely occur when this artist has something tragic happen just like the prior account.
Supposedly, "I am working on commissions" is what they posted recently, in light of that I highly doubt it. Multiple people have come out to state they've lost money to this artist already, one losing over 150$ USD (Which has a HIGHER conversion cost in their country.) to them around a YEAR ago. With no response.

Milkie is reading comments made by me and explicitly deleting them now, along with blocking journal comments regarding it. ALL COMMENTS REGARDING NO RETURN ARE NOW DELETED BY MILKIE.

I have the same issue on how I paid for my YCH. This really brings back to mind that there needs to be a change in how art is paid for. As it is all the risk is on the buyer.
Scammers like this have it easy with everyone demanding full payment up front. There needs to be a balance. Like 25% or half up front and the rest on delivery, or something... It will not stop scammers 100% but at least then the buys wont be out all their money if scammed and on the flip side if the artist gets stiffed by the buyer, they still have something for their time.

Dang. I'm hoping there will at least be a proper outcome from the Inkbunny staff... As I know there have been a few artists removed from Inkbunny for failure to honor commissions en masse before. I'd also suggest if anyone can, they charge back as well as make an Artists Beware.
This is also why I'm extremely hesitant on trying new artists, because every other day you hear of a scammer, work never delivered, or subpar quality.

They responded to me asking if I tried contacting the m1lkreXxX but my case is so old it may not go anywhere. But its worth a shot and the more people reporting her the better.

I completely understand. I have a YCH they still have not done that I payed for a year ago. I did an adopted as well and the only reason I think I got that was because she already had the art done.
Its a shame really. She have such adorable art and I know others that would just throw money at her for art if she would just deliver, including myself. I hope you get something from her, but I am not holding my breath that I will ever see that YCH I purchased or that money again.

June 26th 2024, no reply to my notes or reply to a comment I had left even acknowledging. No trello or public queue, spent $150USD and I really would rather the art than a refund, or worse a ghosting. USD is very dear in conversion for me, so it is a great loss. I hope I get my art, I don't buy adopts, so it can be hard to watch them upload... I get everyone needs income.. but ignoring almost year old commissioners is not great

Getting so sick of them!! I sent a note asking for a refund and they just said they were working on the commission and sadly can’t do a refund since they “spent” the money their treatment and medication.
Just ticks me off since I managed to commission them and another artist for adopts at the same time and I got my other adopt before seeing anything from m1lkreXxX!

I'm actually starting to doubt anyone having gotten a sketch of their commission yet. As I've yet to see anyone having confirmed they have gotten theirs (as stated in their latest journal).
That said, I've gotten replies from them, but that requires me often sending multiple notes in a short timeframe (a few days) before I get any sort of reply. And as I've seen a lot of other comment, I got the standard "hi! I'm working on commissions right now! i’ll do your commissions of course" reply most have gotten for a YCH that I paid for 6-7 months ago at this point as well as some bonus outfit for two adopts I've gotten (the finished adopts as they were drawn I got no problems though, even if I had to mention it several times before getting one of them).
I don't wanna speculate too much about their current health issues, but I do have some doubts there as well. I do hope they get better with time if they are actually sick and in pain.

Set a hard deadline I would say in this case so they don't keep roping you along.)
Sadly, I've used boosty, so I have no such luck. Definitely will have to be more careful with whom I pay with Boosty going forwards. Aka, artists I can trust or at least have worked with before.
