i want money and i wanna do commissions but i cant think of a way to do those without revealing my real identity or setting up an account on a patreon-like site......i def dont wanna do the first but the second also sounds super tiring...... plus loli/shota is actually illegal where i live so i dont wanna put myself at risk by receiving money for it, my only option would probs be doing crypto which i REALLY dont want to do lol

Pixiv Fanbox or Ko-fi maybe would be your best options here?

So crypto does have a use? I heard from a video once that small artists can actually make a lot of money through selling NFTs, but I definitely understand why you wouldn't want to do any of that, as someone who isn't a fan of them myself.

people tend to use crypto for illegal or legally dubious stuff. i've seen some hacking and piracy groups take crypto donations, for example... since iirc, it can't be traced, or something like that.
some adult sites also use it since the big credit card companies and such tend to block explicit purchases. usually bitcoin specifically since it's the most used/most popular i think? i've never been interested in that stuff myself.
